City of Victoria Credit Rating Affirmed February 2012

Recently, Standard & Poor's, a provider of independent credit ratings, affirmed the City of Victoria's credit rating of AA+.  The credit rating reflects,"the City's maintenance of very strong financial long-term reserves and good management oversight." The outlook on all ratings is stable.

The Credit rating was reviewed in advance of the City's recent bond sale to refund the 2003 Tax Increment Bonds, and the 2007 and 2008 G.O. Improvement Bonds.   Click HERE to view the Standard and Poor's Rating Summary for the City of Victoria in pdf-format.
