Vision Statement: The Business Development Committee (BDC) envisions a City that embraces the growth of current and future businesses that benefit our community. The City of Victoria strives to strengthen existing businesses and create an environment that welcomes new businesses into our City and will strive to develop into a full service community that meets the basic needs of all our citizens.
Mission Statement: The mission of the Business Development Committee (BDC) is to help develop and strengthen current and future businesses in the community. The BDC will be an advocate for both current and new businesses. The BDC will "lend a helping hand" to those whom already make Victoria a great city and will strive to guide new businesses through the City approval process. The BDC will communicate business needs to City Council as well as to other committees of the City. The BDC will be partners with all organizations that participate in the business development of the City of Victoria.
The City of Victoria's Business Development Committee is made up of appointed positions and a Council
representative.
Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. at the Water Treatment Plant Community Room, 1480 80th Street. Meetings are open to the public.
