Welcome to the Department of Community Development web pages, your source for a wide range of information about the
plans for the City of Victoria.
The goal of the Community Development Department is to guide Victoria's future direction through the implementation
and enforcement of the Comprehensive Plan, zoning controls and city ordinances. Our department works closely with the
Planning Commission and City Council in reviewing applications for
development, rezoning, conditional use permits and variances.
The department is also responsible for updates and amendments to
Victoria's Comprehensive Plan and
zoning ordinances.
