City of Lakes & Parks

Victoria has been nicknamed "The City of Lakes and Parks" because it has over 200 acres of reserved land, 22 parks with various amenities, and 12 lakes within its borders.  Victoria is also the home of the 1,200+ acre Carver Park Reserve.  The City has many trails for walking, running and hiking.  Click here for a trails map.

The Parks and Recreation Department works closely with the Park and Recreation Committee, advising staff and the City Council on parks and recreation-related needs, plans and facilities.

Lions Park Outdoor Ice Rink
The Lions Park Warming House and Ice Rink is scheduled to open on Monday, December 19, 2017.  Any closures will be updated on the weather hotline at (952)-443-4260.  Click here to see the non-school day extended hours that the Lions Park Warming House will be open for.

Carver Park Reserve
Victoria is home to the Carver Park Reserve which contains campgrounds and the Lowry Nature Center.

Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
Also home to Victoria is the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Apple Barn and partially located in Victoria is the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
