Victoria's Park and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of of recreation programs designed to improve the quality of life for all ages. Through play, education, and events we grow individually and as a community.

Baseball - It was the year 1974, Tony Vogel and John Chapman started the Victoria Vics Baseball team.  The Vics had been dead for a few years, but when they hired "bullet" Bill Schneider as their manager, the Vic's started playing in the Carver-Central League.  In 1983 Mike Poppitz took over the team and the rest is history.     

Come play this fun game!  Pickleball is a mix of badminton, tennis and ping pong.  Learn more on the Pickleball Minnesota website.

The department works closely with the Park and Recreation Committee, advising staff, the City Council, and county commissioners on parks and recreation-related needs, plans, and facilities.
