Committees & Commissions
The City of Victoria has several standing Committees and Commissions.  The Committees and Commissions provide a way for the City to benefit from the expertise and experience of those who live and work in the City, as well as providing a way for residents to meet new people, learn new things, develop leadership skills, be of service and make a difference in the community they live in.  If you'd like to offer your expertise to one of the Committee's or Commissions, please fill out an application.

Finance Committee
Learn about the committee meetings, membership, and responsibilities.

Park & Recreation Committee
Learn about the committee responsible for maintaining our local parks and recreational programs.

Planning Commission
Learn about the Commission meetings, membership, and responsibilities.

Victoria for a Lifetime Committee
View information about the committee improving the quality of life for Victoria's aged citizens.  This committee currently has no members.

A Water Quality Committee is currently being formed requesting two members at large at apply.  Lake Homeowners will have appointed positions on this Committee.  Their meeting dates and mission will be determined with their first meeting.


In addition to standing Committees and Commissions, the City may create task forces or sub-committees to study particular issues.  Citizens are welcome to attend all meetings of the subcommittees/task forces, and can find Agendas and Meeting Notes/Minutes in the Agenda Center.
