City of Victoria Elections
The City of Victoria's election for City Council is held during State and Federal Election years.  The City Council consists of 5 members; 1 Mayor and 4 Council Members.  Mayor and Council Members are elected at large for a 4-year term.   

Current Council is:  Mayor Tom Funk
                                Council member Jim Crowley
                                Council member Tom Gregory
                                Council member Tom Strigel
                                Council member Tom Vogt

Council seats currently held by Jim Crowley and Tom Strigel will be voted on in 2018.  If interested in running for Council, filing will occur from July 31- August 14, 2018 at the City Hall or you can click on this link and turn it into City Hall between July 31 & August 14th along with a $2 filing fee.  You can disregard the wording at the bottom of the page regarding different color copies.

Voting election dates for 2018 are: Primary-August 14th and General-November 6th

Absentee Voting
You can start the process for absentee voting for the Primary Election on June 29th by clicking on this link.  All absentee ballots are handled by Carver County at the Government Center, 600 East 4th Street, Chaska or through the mail.

Please note:  The Chanhassen License Center has discontinued their absentee voting service.  You cannot absentee vote there in 2018.
