Donuts in Victoria

The Donuts in Victoria free community gathering series organized by the City of Victoria Parks & Recreation Department gives an insider look at the happenings in Victoria through casual chats with City staff and partners. Coffee and donuts are provided!

Citizens Academy

In this year’s Citizens Academy program, residents will discover how the City plans for future growth while preserving its natural amenities. Over the 5-week program, City of Victoria staff and partners will discuss the impact and background of a number of topics.

Car Seat Clinic

This free event is available to all community members if you would like to have your booster or car seat installation checked. Certified car seat technicians will teach you how to install and use your child’s car seat correctly. There is no charge for a car seat inspection but appointments are required. This event is organized by the Victoria Fire Department and Carver County Public Health in partnership with Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.

Hands-Only CPR Classes

Hands-Only CPR can provide the victims of cardiac arrest with the valuable care they need until advanced treatment arrives. In a Hands-Only CPR Class, you'll learn the basic skills of Hands Only CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use so that you are prepared to respond in the event of a medical emergency. Registration is required.

Project Life Cycle Bike Repair Event
Stop by the Bayfront Plaza for free basic bike tune-ups and repairs to get everything ready for the season. Expert volunteers from Project Life Cycle, a project of A Better Society in Chanhassen, will work on all sizes and styles of bikes and will have a limited supply of parts and tubes to get your ride back in shape! First come first served! This event is organized by the City of Victoria with funding from Carver County Environmental Services.

Fishing with First Responders

Fishing with First Responders is the perfect opportunity for your child’s life to be impacted by taking them away from electronics for a day and getting them into the great outdoors. This program provides the excitement and anticipation of catching a fish, access to equipment and a tutorial on the basics, and ultimately having the chance to bond with their local first responders.

Lunch Time Tunes

Enjoy this summer's Lunch Time Tunes series down at the Charlson Thun Community Bandstand! Organized by the City of Victoria's Parks & Recreation Department, this year's lineup features fun for all ages. Each Lunch Time Tunes will also have a StoryWalk offered by the Victoria Library.

Classic Car Night

Join us in downtown Victoria for this summer’s Discover Victoria Classic Car Nights! Classic cars from all over the metro area are on display downtown during the evenings of the second and fourth Wednesdays of the summer months. Make sure to check out all the amazing food and drink options from local establishments! Classic Car Nights are organized and run by volunteers with the Victoria Business Association.

Victoria Farmers Market at Enki

Head to downtown Victoria for the Victoria Farmers' Market this summer! Vendors at the market have everything from fresh produce to sweet treats.

Truck Rodeo

Explore the big trucks and machinery that keep our city safe and beautiful! Organized by the City of Victoria Parks & Recreation Department, join this free event to discover vehicles from Victoria’s Public Works, Fire Department, and local partners in safety. Enter the grand prize drawing for a ride to school in a fire truck.

Pop-Up Splash Pad

There’s no better way to celebrate summer than by splashing around in the sunshine. The Victoria Fire Department will bring the water, all you need to bring is a towel and to dress in clothing that can get wet. Top the day off with frozen treats and a bounce house!

Night to Unite


Neighborhoods within Victoria host Night to Unite Block Parties each year on the first Tuesday of August. This year, community members will get together across Victoria on the evening of August 1 to celebrate during the annual get together.

Puppets in the Park

The Z Puppet's A La Carte: In a Fool’s Kitchen is a comic battle between a clown, French Chef, and a wily lobster set to live accordion music. This playfully interactive comedy features clowning, puppetry, music, and a few unruly vegetables. The show is meant for families and children over the age of 4 years. A StoryWalk sponsored by the Victoria Library will be set up along the trail behind the library.
